Giving Thanks

As we pass the turkey around the table we're sure to take turns telling what we are most thankful for. It goes without saying I am thankful for family, friends, the gospel, an amazing companion, five fabulous children and a sweet grandbaby too. But as I was pondering Thanks Giving ("not a compound word" I was reminded by a dear friend) I thought of some of the not so traditional things that make life good right now.

I am thankful:
my husband has two jobs and works tirelessly at both
my kids are happy (most of the time)
my body has agreed to go along with my new running habit
for my amazing Tango Red steam clothes dryer
Jasmyne is almost done with college while raising a baby
for my 16 year old washing machine
Cole likes to sing in the choir "with all the old people"
Will had a newfound love of all sports
Abby (yes, my daughter) is a math fact wiz (actually, that would make her her dad's daughter)
Sage says the craziest, most thought provoking things everyday and makes me smile
even though I lost my job I get to spend more time with my "baby" and her totally scrumptious nephew Logan
for BodyPump
my pants are too big (at least until Nov 25th)

May you and your family have blessed Thanks Giving.

Love your list. We really are all just so lucky if we think about it. And I love seeing Cole singing in the choir too!
