What Happens in Vegas...

What happens in Vegas ends up on my blog. Luckily "sin city" is not somewhere I visit often and you will not find any incriminating pictures from our trip (well, there is that one j/k.) We visited Vegas this weekend for Sam's little sisters' wedding. They live in L.A., his parents are from Wyoming, her dad lives in Utah and we're in AZ so Vegas was a good meeting point. It was so much fun to see so many family members and friends there to support them on their special day!

Jodi and David were married at Mandalay Bay and their one year old son, Tristan, was the ring bearer. He had a rough time at first, because there were so many people around, but after a bottle and a nap he warmed up to the idea and even let Jasmyne and I hold him. Which is huge since we haven't seen him since he was born!

The wedding colors were pink and brown. The cake was beautiful and yummy (although the groom wasn't sure the decorative bee bee's on it were edible!) The groomsmen, David and Tristan all wore brown Chuck Taylors, which I thought was a cute touch.

Jodi was glowing. We're so glad we went. Family is so important!

We swam, we ate, we took in a show and we shopped at the Venetian. We stayed at the Luxor because it had a walkway to Mandalay Bay and because an episode of Fear Factor was shot there :)

On another note:
Between Cole at Trek and us in Vegas, the laundry this week definitely smells like smoke! Definitely remembered why it's called "sin city". Funny story...I'll tell you about it sometime.
