We enjoyed celebrating Dr. Suess' birthday yesterday. The kinders got to wear their pj's to school and read Dr. Suess books all day. I was fortunate enough to be asked to read "I can read with my eyes shut." It was fun! William also got to eat lunch with The Cat in The Hat. He entered a contest to create a new Dr. Suess character. His was Mr. Fox. He was thrilled to be chosen!
When I asked my boss for time off to go to Dr. Suess day she said I sure make life hard for her because I'm a good mom. That was a huge compliment, considering the source. It was a good day. I love being a mom!
Later that day Abby started TaeKwanDo with William. She was so funny! Since Abby started Sage thought she should too. She kept counting loudly and insisting she was five years old and could do it too. Actually, these days if you ask her how old she is she'll tell you five everytime. Why are they so insistent on growing up?
*I'll post pictures as soon as I figure out how to get them off my phone*
Jazz is coming for a visit this weekend. Yipee! Okay, I think I've procrastinated my homework long enough. Isn't it funny how dishes, laundry, cleaning toilets, even mopping sounds more fun than homework?
