The Rooster is in the Hen House

When the whole Griffiths gang was together this weekend a friend of mine said, "It must be so nice to have all your chicks and Rooster home." She's right! It felt good, it felt cozy, it felt like everything was right with the world for a few short days. There is a reason Heavenly Father made man and woman as help meets for one another. We carry one another's burdens and share the joy and sorrows that come with having a family together. I'm blessed, truly blessed. Although they have gone again to their respective "homes" and they are truly missed in my crazy little hen house on Nathan Way, they will return very soon (at least one of them to stay).
There are quite a few things my rooster does better than this hen that we did this weekend including: soccer, spinning kids, fixing sprinklers, bowling and piling on daddy!

P.S. To those who have yet to find your rooster (you know who you are) Have faith and until then, find joy in the journey.

Brought tears to my eyes. So glad you had a weekend together. Can you just imagine how great its going to be on the other side when we are with our families eternally. Looks like you had lots of fun.
