Many, Many Thanks!

Old family traditions and new. One of our family traditions is the kids making name cards for each person. They always do such a good job! We also go around the table telling what we are thankful for. This year we brought Mr. Gobbles and played "pass the turkey." When you are ready to say what your are thankful for you say, "Please pass the turkey." A common theme to be thankful for this year was Family, Friends and Good Jobs.
I'm thankful this year for sacrifice:
For my children sacrificing time with mom so she can finish her education.
For my husband spending many days away from home so he can provide for his family and his country.
For my parents and their spouses who faithfully come every week so I can go to school.
For my savior who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

Another tradition is our door of thanks. The kids added some great artwork and shared some fun stories of the first thanksgiving. The rest of the day we enjoyed Harry Potter UNO, football, and Clue. Many people were missing from our table, but we were grateful to know they were safe, happy and well fed. Hope you and yours had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We did. Thanks Dad and Kathleen for a fabulous day!

It looks like you had a great Thanksgiving. I love Pass the turkey tradition, cute I think I might use that next year. We go around the table and say what we are Thankful for too.
