Memorial/William's B-Day Campout!
For William's Birthday he wanted to go camping. Luckily our friends, the Poulsons, Olpins, Slavinskys and Moss' were up for it. (Don't tell him they were planning on going anyway, birthday or not). William celebrated his birthday with a homemade sign, donuts and watermelon in the outdoors. Just the way he likes it. Jasmyne enjoyed using the chainsaw to cut down a fallen tree for firewood (as if we didn't bring enough) and playing catch phrase. Cole had fun flirting with some girls and wandering the woods with his loyal pal, Luke. Abigail adored having so many of her pals to hang around with and was such a "happy camper" we barely heard a peep from her the whole time. Sage was bound and determined to get the dirtiest camper award and won it hands down. There's a pic of her showing off her behind after she sat on some ashes (not hot) in the fire pit. We had a fabulous time! The food was amazing! Games, rope swing, marshmallows, kickball, hiking, an amazing talent show, relaxation and good friends too! We have to admit we've always been loners when it comes to camping, but we hope to make it an annual event...don't tell William it's for Memorial day though. :)
