Since we were in Utah the week before the 4th we had our own little fireworks show. The kids thought it was fantastic that you could light fireworks in your front yard. Sam's cousins neighbors were not so impressed since it was a weeknight and a week before the holiday. The kids favorites were the paratroopers and the tanks. They also like the sparklers, well except Sage.
For the actual holiday we found a spot near the canal and laid out our blankets. We could see at least three shows throughout the valley from our spot. We did some more sparklers while we were waiting since it was legal in AZ this year. We might have had some leftover fireworks from UT too, but you didn't hear it from me. Logan slept through his first fourth of July. Abby wanted to.
