The second grade concert was a blast even though I was on my lonesome with the three little ones and somehow ended up with one of Abby's classmates sitting with us to boot! The kids were great and the songs were a lot of fun. They sang all kinds of songs about different animals. My fave, no secret, was Puff the Magic Dragon (no comments on the "real" meaning of the song...)
In case you have not already figured it out my children are not blessed in the height department, so I am always disappointed when the tall kid gets placed right in front of mine. It doesn't matter that they are on graduated bleachers...all I can see is the top of my kids' head!!

This time I was determined to get a good picture of my own kid. With my telephoto in hand I staked out a front row seat guaranteed to get me a picture of my child singing his little heart out! And would you know it...once he got on stage he was placed on the bleacers directly in front of the music teacher!!
I got some terrific pics of some of my friends kids singing their heart out.
Oh, and I did sneak across the front of the auditorium to get a picture of Will. Enjoy!
