Birthday week...yes, that's how we do it in the Griffiths home, and star student all in one week! I ask you how much fun it that? First, Liberty Bear comes to stay for a week. Cole thinks it's a sick way to distribute everyone's germs from one house to another. Way to suck the fun out of it!!
Nevertheless, we enjoyed having Liberty Bear stay with us. He doesn't eat much, remembers to leave the toilet seat down, and hardly ever back talks. May be I can trade him for one of my own? I digress. We took Liberty Bear to the park, on a bike ride, he joined Abby for her "official" birthday on Monday and got plenty of hugs and kisses!
Sage actually cried when Liberty had to go back in the bag and back to kindergarten to spread our germs at another unsuspecting household. Liberty Bear comes with a scrapbook to tell of his travels.
The star student also enjoys bragging about their likes and dislikes on a giant poster, brings in a guessing jar for the kids to estimate how many treats are inside, and according to Abby and Will gets to bring in show and tell. Which was not listed on the sheet, but they were insistent.
To top it off donuts for the birthday girl and all her friends! Sorry Ms. Kogel for the sugar high! Congratulations STAR STUDENT ABBY!*FYI Parents, in case you could not tell...star student is a lot of work!

I personally HATE Liberty Bear, so I'm with Cole on this one. He was waaaaaaay too much work. I sort of hope Liberty Bear is gone by the time Nate goes to Kindy.
